Meeting tourist is a testing for conviction

On November 1^st, 2014, English Club members of SMP Tarakanita Magelang went to Borobudur temple to meet and ask some tourists. The program was held to improve the students’ ability of communicating by using English language.  Though they were very tired, but they feel happy because this was a new challenge for them to speak with someone in other language, which is not their mother tongue.  

 

From the interview carried out by the students, they knew about foreigners’ impression to Indonesian people. The tourists said that Indonesian is great, which means kind and honest.

Finally, the activity was expected to encourage the students to have conviction in encountering something difficult, in which Conviction is one of the values taught in SMP Tarakanita.
